Good beginner

I'm thinking about this because I really like rays and I was thinking down the line. What is the best beginner ray that doesn't get that big and shouldn't be a big pain to maintain and I can find in the U.S.?

I would say a motoro but you don't want that big so you can try a marble....

Hystrix that are being imported now stay smallish around 12" give or take. Pedro has some nice ones for 75 bucks and vendor on another board for 90. Other vendors are also carrying them at a little higher price. mybluem3 has a nice well established male for sale, fat and healthy, little more expensive but you won't have to get it onto prepared foods like the fresh imported rays.
