Currently feeding frozen bloodworms/brineshrimp etc to my jar and of course he makes a mess. Any good clean up bottom dweller fish that don't have spines (ie. pictus cat) in case my jar decides to attack it? I have some good hiding places so if it is a fast fish hopefully it'll do well. Would preferably like one that does well by itself (non-schooling fish). LMK what ya'll are using for cleanup!

Koi... if u got tha room! im off koi shopping tomo as it happens... Koi n aros are wicked combo i think.... if it was not a jar then id say afro aro every time.. but dont risk it with a jar... just get a koi! :D

if u go for a cat... pacman cats work with jars and are awesome catfish!!!

Loaches like to school correct? I was thinking about getting 3 or so. Would clowns be best?

Clown loaches are good, but keep in mind that they live for like 50 years or something crazy like that. Because of that, they grow extremely slowly. I've had some clown loaches for almost a year now, and they're pretty much the same sizes as when I bought them.

Also, they can get up to a foot long.
