hey, what are some good carpeting plants i could grow in my 20L.i have 65 watts pc and a 18watts flor.i have, what i think, is eco complete with 3 DIY 2L CO2

Why not just fill your tank with the yeast mixture and grow your plants in that?

well since its being diffused through 2 WOOD air stones and not a"Power Head" or any other method...most is lost. even with what you have listed with your set up..you are losing a good amount of your CO2. i was told 4 2L would be ok and im getting crazy growth with what im doing:wall:......so back to my question

not sure if your looking for a grass type plant or glosso type. so its hard to say but give a look at this site it has plants aranged by aquascaping placement.

great guide...thank you, i have been looking for guides wtih pics for a bit now...
whats the scientific name for HC..seems many people are using it now.is it a hard plant to care for..this is my first planted tank, but am willing to try anything

Hemianthus callitrichoides i wouldnt say its hard to care for. just needs good light and good co2. with any low ground cover you get stuff that wants to get stuck in it so you have to deal with that bt its worth it. and if it doesnt work out just try somthing else.

A good carpeting plant for a beginner is Blyxa japonica.
b. japonica grows fairly tall though, doesnt it? unless its a huge tank, a carpet of japonica would be too much, from the pics ive seen.
