I have just one tank with live plants in it. Its a 20G with 15W (I have a 25W on the way) and 1 java fern, 1 horn wort, 1 money wort, and 1 Anacharis. I add liquid plant food every other PWC. Anyways my question is what would be a easy to keep, low light needing carpeting plant? This is my first (and probably only seeing as I have plant eating snails in almost all my other tanks) planted tank and I would like to keep it simple but also have it look nice if thats possible.

Carpet plant and low light are two things that do not go together. Using Java moss is a good way to go as said above. There are a few other mosses that may work but might be harder to find. If you want something like glosso, micro sword, etc... you will need 3+ wpg and C02.

Thanks so much for responding! I know with the low lighting it really limits what I can do but I don't want to yet dump in a lot of money or too much effort until I figure out if a planted tank is something that I will be good at and am able to keep up with.

Just keep asking questions and doing your homework and you will get the hang of it. Yes live plants can be a little harder and if you have an algae outbreak it can get ugly but once you get it right and someone comes over and sees your planted tank and goes WOW. Its all worth it. I remember when I set up my 125 gallon planted and my mother-in-law came over and looked at it and said... do you think you could get my little tank to look like that? Well that made it all worth it.
