I had a pair of cobalt blues in a 20gal, they are pretty nice. I would reccomend a trio though, my male killed her

I would also reccomend tanganyikans. I also had a lelupi and two julies in the same tank after I moved the single male to my display tank. They worked out pretty good.

the shell dwelling tangs would be cool. whatever stays small

definately Tan***ikan Shelldwellers. They get anywhere from 2" to like 4" and as the name implies they live in shells. Some species that would do well that are common
