Well after a long break from fish keeping I am looking to start another fish tank. Probably a community tank I would really like some nice plecos. So what would be a good pleco or pleco's for a 29 gallon community tank? I wouldn't mind having a few plecos.

Stay away from any Pterygoplichthys as they get over a foot. Also most Panaques will get too big... except for Clowns or Tigers.

I'd recommend Peckoltias or BNs.

Could you reccomend a realatively easy to find pleco... like a couple species to start looking at or something?

I really like the L-104 and L-015..... I cannot find a common name for them though. Its super tough to find anything around here without a common name

Common names vary by location but you can see if they have Clown pleco (L-104) or Candy Stripe pleco (L-015). You can never really go wrong with Bushynose pleco's (L-144, they come in calico, green, albino, yellow, and the can also have long fins).

I have had bristlenose plecos before I didn't really like them that much. I have had a "clown pleco" also that was an interesting little guy... I think I am going to try and find a few of either one of those.

Check out aqua bid you see the L-104's being sold there all the time.

Around here they come in all the time and don't cost more than around $5 each.
