what are some plants you guys use to offer your p's some protection/safety. I had a big ball of some floating plants that they seemed to lie in the 125...but they might get out of hand in a 55.

I have Amazon Swords and various types of Cryptocorne in my P tank. You could get onion plants if you want more cover. All these plant grow fairly easy with minimal effort.

i have a bunch of amazon swords, some crypts, anubias, and java fern in my red belly tank and they are working out well, i have pics of the tank in this forum. i just bought a few red melon swords and a couple moss balls today, so i'll see how those work.
