I had gone to Petsbarn, where the first person that I knew saw me, and said they had a pike cichlid which some lady had taken this morning, but the person who donated the pike donated 3 jack dempseys atleast 5 inches. I picked one, and the fish guy gave it to me for free because they're supposedly illegall to sell in Texas, and he almost entered them in the system, so it was a free fish. I'll take pics soon. It's going to be the largest in my tank and was wondering if I should've got the other 2 to put in with my oscar that's in my 75 gallon?

It's also a she, and she had been in a tank alone I think cause of either tank space or she was aggressive. But I heard it was a more recent law, and while there at Petsbarn, I was given an application so I could apply for a job.

No, I do not. I thought it was awkward but they said it, and they can no longer sell Texan cichlids either. But, if I wanted them, I can get them at Petsmart or special order them from somewhere.
