I found a 180 truvu here in town. Comes with a stand and some ghetto lighting. The tanks has a ton of scratches which doesnt bother me I'll buff them out. He was asking 350 and I got him down to 300. So I'm thinking about going and buying it tomorrow. Should I? There are no whited out seams, a little crazing but nothing really bad. He's been keeping it outside though. Should I be concerned about this? I will have him fill it before I take it home. Any else I might be missing?

Yeah I wasnt sure if it being outside right now is a bad thing or not. Its just really scratched up. It's going to take a lot of buffing to get it looking nice. I priced a new tank from Tenecor and they want 1400 plus 220 for shipping.

First smart thing that you are doing is having him fill it. If it does not leak then it is not a bad deal, but I do think there may be better ones considering that you said it has a lot of scratches.

Yeah it has TONS of scratches but the seams are in overall good condition. The stand has water damage along the bottom and is rotted a little. Probably have my sister's boyfrined build me a new one. I priced a new one and decided I'm willing to take a chance with this tank. This is like those awesome deals you see in Socal.
