Should I buy this tank? I am leaning towards yes. Just waiting for a email back to find out dimensions, brand and acrylic thickness./

Here is the ad placed:

Mammoth acrylic fish tank with stand, canopy, and 2-8ft lights. Includes (2)700gph pumps, 10watt UV filter, power strip, bio media, timer and heater. Great price was $5000 new. Has rocks and gravel. Can help with move locally.

$1250.

depends on size and quality, but it's definately worth looking in to.

He replied back. Roughly 8ftx3ftx3ft. 3/4- 1" thick acrylic
I am gonna offer $1k.

i told u to come get mine for that price with wet/dry, stand , glass tops, etc

Actually, I told you I only had $1k to give for it, and I never heard back from you?

But this tank is also local too, as to where I would have to drive 6-8 hrs 1 way for yours.

no prob, good luck!

Pretty good deal. Could you some heavier pumps, though. The tank is 500+gals and could really use double the flow of the pumps that come with it.

Thanks, I thought it was a pretty decent deal. He is pretty firm on the price. Going to look at it tomorrow. What kind of pumps could I replace the existing ones with? I am new to sumps/ wet/dry systems as I currently run cannisters.
