No. I paid $115 shipped for my 2217.

Not a ripoff if it is a brand new 2215.

Big Al's carries them for $99.99 and claims that they are good for aquariums up to 95 gallons.

Personally, I like the Eheim classic and ecco cannisters. Simple but effective.

Paid $110 for my 2217's, I have 3 of em, 2x 2213, 1x Pro 2028.

Love the eheim!
