I rescued this 10" Emperor Shark from my lfs 20G tank that housed with a 9" Oscar.

He is CRAZY when food dropped into the water, and banged on the glass as hard as he can.

Also, he swims ULTRA FAST, that stressed all my fish in the tank

:irked:

Now I wonder, should I even save him in the first place at all?!?

That's a paroon shark. It's going to get massive 5' in the wild prob 3' in captivity. Hopeful u have a big tank or pond sense these guys grow fast. And eat anything he can fit in his mouth. Good find. How much was he

Paroons actually grow usually around the 5' mark in captivity and up to 8' in the wild

good deed now,
bad deed when it grows to big, eats ur orinos lOL ( hope not) and u have to give it to some nutcass who says he has a HUGE TANK!!! ( in his case a 55 G)

Hungry paroon has no place to go. *sigh*

Sure beats a 20g though! What size tank is he about to outgrow?

$25

That's a pretty good price. I've always wanted one for my pond but can never find one around here. Gl with him. Though with how active they are your gonna need a much bigger tank really soon
