Good Diet for Megalodoras Irwini?

Just got an Irwini (about 6") 2 weeks ago and I'm looking for a good source of food for him? Thanks

I feed mine (around 14") night crawlers and shrimp.

Does he eat the night crawlers in front of you? Mine is really shy, hope he grows out of it

It has taken awhile, but he will come out and eat in front of me.

I will try to get some picks up later of him eating.

I used to feed mine sinking carnivore pellets from Hikari and sinking pellets from New Life Spectrum as well as shrimp and night crawlers.

I do add a lot of shrimp and sinking pellets, but dont know if he eats. Usually my other fish get the food. Once everyone is full I throw in more shrimp and pellets (just a lil) and when I wake up its all gone. Hope hes eating them. What size do you guys have and how long did it take?

Mine went from 2.5"-9.5" in 12 months........then I killed it with a water change

i've never seen my eat but had it for about 5 months its grown a couple inches so far its about 7" i got it at 5"

Damb that sucks! What did you feed him to grow so quick?

Just what I already listed above and a lot of fresh seafood. Mine seemed to enjoy raw squid a LOT.
