hey just wanted to ask the experts if im feeding my channel right now that hes getting pretty big around 24" long about 6" wide at the head. this is what I feed him. any suggestions would be helpful

monday: 4-5 market shrimp
tuesday: massivore
wednesday: chunks of real tuna/catfish/talapia what ever is on sale
thursday: some floating pellets for koi
Friday:massivore
sat:what ever fish is left over.
sunday: nothing

Is this varied enough for him? missing anything thanks in advance

heres a few pics....goes back in his 3500gal pond hopefully next week

why not feed massivore on thursday also? in my expirence koi food, if im assuming right, does not have as much nutrients as other foods. but this is assuming its the pond food they sell for dirt cheap in the buckets.

i used to feed him massivore on thursday to but thats the day I feed the 1 4" koi im trying to grow out pellets so he gets used to it when he goes to the big pond. problem is he never gets any sense anything that goes into the tank the catfish automatically eats. lol. except the gold fish he grew up with. there still only 6" or so and he wont eat them. accidently sucked one of the smaller ones up oneday but coughed him up haha

sounds like a good diet to me i used to feed mine feeders, smelt, bloodworms, earthworms nd massivore

at that size i would say feed less often-try every other day for a start.
