I have got a question and i need ideas pretty fast...

Actually, i have got a pretty new black ghost knife... only 2 days ago. yesterday it was fine... but today, it's not swimming at all, it's fins are moving. it is lying on it's side the whole day. Once i thought i have lost it, but it started swimming when i put my hand near it. But now, even when i am putting my hand near it, it's not swimming... kindly help me plz...

Doesn't sound very promising. Check water perimeters and if they are off, try a water change to correct them. How long have you had it? Even stressed fish would swim away when approached by a hand.

Source water from where? If from tap, any chlorine or chloramine added? If so, need chlorine / chloramine remover. Also, please not use untreated water from Ganges as polluted. Filtration system cycled? Use water test kit to find out levels of Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. Feeding too much food?
