So I have a 75G setup and it will have a Red Tiger Motaguense in it. What filtration would be good? I use undergravel for my 55g but want something stronger for my 75. what do you guys recommend?

I always liked to do a canister and HOB, so I would do a AC110 and then a XP3. If you can only buy one to start I would start with AC110.

I have an AquaTop CF400UV canister and absolutely love it! Lots of bang for the buck!
got mine for $104+tax
375 gph flow rate
9w UV sterilizer built in w/ separate "on/off" switch
3 nice sized media trays
comes w/bioballs but tossed theirs and filled one tray with Marineland mini biospheres for about $12 more.
Some charcoal, coarse foam pads and polishers.
down to 90 gallon per hour flow rate after 7 months no maintenance... lol
about due I suppose, but all water parameters still great. Am=0ppm, NO3/NO4 at 0ppm, NO2 still low too!

I just setup a 75g and went with a AC110. It is probably one of the better choices. At that price point though you can get a Aquatop or SunSun canister filter which will hold more media but have lower flow rate. I stayed away from the canister because I just hate the maintenance on them. While many people say they don't maintain them for 6 months, I am paranoid of them becoming nitrate factories that will kill my fish when I least expect it.

I have a 75, and I run 2 x eheim 2217s and a hydor V. I think it works pretty well. I used to run 2 ac110s instead of the canisters, and I think it actually gave me cleaner water. I'll probably switch to one canister, one hob, and the sponge when I move
