What would be a good fish to get rid of some type of red bubble algae I have starting to overtake my 10 gallon tank? The snails I have won't even touch the stuff.I have one other fish in it which is a YTBD but I have lots of inverts in it and a bunch of corals. I can't find anything compatible. Anyone know of anything?

Im not sure of any fish that will eat bubble algae, try a emerald crab, they have been known to eat that stuff. Also try to manually remove as much as u can.

I believe that "red bubble algae" are the holdfasts of the desirable Gracilaria spp. macroalgae. Won't go sexual, but is a poor exporter of nutrients, and is highly desirable by herbivorous fish species. Looks pretty once it grows out, however. It may wither due to a lack of trace elements.

Dont forget to feed your crab when your out of algae. they starve easy like the common pleco , algae waffers, romaine lettuce, yellow squash, zucchini, all those green cans of tang, angel food. peas they love peas right out the can. hope this is help full
