Good fish for New Pond?

Just set up a little pond today.I can make it a tropical pond but i want to try coldwater first. Any beasty or aggresive fish for a small coldwater pond?
 
Well I had a Albno buenos aires tetra in our pond and it was peaceful to other fish but killed its sibling. It lived in their when the water got down to, I think 10'C till I removed it. Anyway very robust fish and they actually have tiny rows of teeth and mine loved small insects, to me they resemble small GATF
 
How small? Koi get huge, need a big pond if they are going to stay there. Shubunkin goldfish are really cool looking and pretty fast and crazy, like to jump out of the water when im feeding them.
 
How bout orfe or european perch
 
Well if youre pond is big enough and u can find an importer, Elopichthys bambusa would be really bad ass, but the koi would have to fly. Or you could chuck in some pike
