Im putting my 2 silvertip sharks in a 60 gallon marine tank, any suggestions for marine tankmates that are big enough not to get eaten? lol Im thinking maybe a hippotas tang but I always get conflicting opinions on the space they need. some say 55 gallons some say 180 o_o so which is it? but yeah, I prefer something solitary, mid size and not freakishly aggressive if anyone has suggestions....

IMO most tangs would do poorly in a 60 gallon. The reason behind this is that they need really good water quality and they are really active. Both of these factors point to a large tank.

lol. theyre only 2 inches long or so atm. but I decided against getting a 60 at all. and im skipping straight to a 100. which now raises the question, what would you say is the best filter for a 100 gallon with a snowflake moray eel? and no...no trolls here.
