Good fishing spots in new york?

Does anyone have some good fishing spots to share with me in ny? especially for trout LMB SMB and catfish and maybe bowfin. All my places suck.. Btw im in ulster county.. Thanks for any help

Im not very firmiliar with the hudson river in southern NY but i know up here there is a healthy population of catfish. We just fish at night with chunked fish on the bottom and its a rarity to not catch at least one. I get them alot while striper fishing in the spring too. I wouldnt recomend eating them from the hudson however...

How far up do you live? And I assume you mean Channel cats. So i'll use chopped herring

I have always heard that stripper fishing in the valley is supposed to be good. when going for stripper i use tube n worm with a sand worm, and then squid off the bottom.

Yeah Channels, sorry. I live just outside Albany and up here you can pretty much use chopped anything. They arent pickey.
