Hey mfk need some help im resealing a 210 gallon and i took of the silicone and before i seal it would like to know what would be the best glue to use on glass ?

It depends what you're gluing to it? Do you just want to know what silicone to use to reseal or are you actually trying to glue something else to the glass?

As far as i'm aware the silicon IS the glue that holds the glass together. Then the same silicon is used as a bead smoothed out to give you the proper seal and extra bonding.

Ok great thanks just thought there was a diffent seal to the glass and then the silicone so just the silicon holds everything together then thanks guys

You want 100% silicone. Don't get the anti mold kind which can be toxic to fish. Clear GE silicone I is a commonly available silicone that works fine, but there are a number of others that you can order that will work too. Whatever you get just make sure it says 100% silicone.

Keep in mind that you must remove all traces of the old silicone from the interior surfaces before re-sealing. New silicone will not adhere to old silicone; that glass has to be spotless.

And, of course, be careful when you scrape off the interior silicone not to slip the blade in between the glass panels. This would damage the silicone that glues the structure of the tank together. That would be a bad thing.
