good idea of protien??

No, it would not be a good idea. You need to feed a varied diet with pellets or food sticks being the staple of that diet.

I agree with bderick varied diet is the best, if you cant get your arowana on sticks or pellets(i could never) then krill/shrimp or gutloaded crickets should be the staple. Superworms and Mealworms contain more Fat than Protein and to much will cause some health problems, they are also very addicting and will cause your arowana to refuse anything else or go on a hunger strike.

would it be good if i mostly just feed my jardini superworms i get from the local reptile store?

if you want nice growth you have to look beyond protein

fats, carbohydrates AND protein

assuming we already have good nutrient value

those three things are what you want to get into your fish for superior growth.

heard once you get your aro on superworms they get highly addicted and refuse other foods.

i thought superworms were full of protein?

Like bderick said have your arowana on a variety diet with pellets shrimps etc if you keep feeding your aro fatty food then it will cause health problems it can be a sometimes meal but not always
