Anyone have a good insurance company they recommend for auto + home? I currently have State Farm and they are just ticking me off. When I bought them I put down two months payment. Apparently half of the downpayment goes towards the first month and the second half of the downpayment goes toward a "reserve" so that I have a grace period between billing cycles. I told them I would take a pass on the grace period and and wanted the money in the reserve to be used as credit in my bills, but they said the reserve was mandatory.

So anyone have an insurance company they're happy with?
 
Progressive has been best cost and what not for me. They have always treated me well also. Don't cover large fish tank floods though. But I'll still keep them more money saved always.

None finer than USAA. I've been with them for a long time. However, unless you are a military veteran or a relative of one, you may have a hard time getting in.
