I've been to so many fish stores on Long Island, including Country Critters and I'm a HUGE fan of Aqua Hut, but I can't seem to find a store where I can get a good bichir or a larger eel and it seems like none of these stores will order you one. Anyone have any suggestions? Even if I have to go there and order it, that's find with me.

hey this place is a bit expensive but u can call in magic isle aquarium petshop in centereach, i remember they had big fire eel, a big senegal bichir, smaller bichirs (forget which type i think endlicheris). I'd call before making the trip though. also btj jungle petshop in west islip off of sunrise highway had some bichirs u can try them. Nd brian's tropical aquarium petshop in rocky point might have em too.
heh I was about to say country critters mainly because I get excellent deals there...um places around me really include places like brians aquarium in rocky point it's an okay fish store i suppose decent stock. Aqua hut is pretty fantastic hhaha small world eh?
Aqua Hut is amazing but I just want a damn fire eel or a really dope bichir but nobody orders stuff for you anymore. It used to be SO easy to get whatever fish you wanted, lol.
Definitely aqua hut - but I'm one of the few ppl on this forum who lives pretty far EAST of aqua hut =P
