Just a friendly reminder if you havent completely secured your the top of your tank do so! the top of my tank is constructed of 3/4" plywood its heavy and perfect for aros however I had bought the whole setup off craigslist and for whatever reason there was a 12" x 5" hole on the side of the lid which serves no purpose. I was aware that aros are active jumpers but my aros where small at the time so I thought some packing tape would do the job.

Lo and behold 6 months later I come home after a long weekend to find a crispy aro on the floor. I know its because of my own negligence and part of me kinda knew this would happen. so may my mistake serve as a reminder to every else that they can and will get out.

Ya they can jump out threw holes that are just a hair bigger then they are. Sorry to hear about your aro but glad you learned a lesson.

Wonder how they get their accuracy from?

Can't say I didn't lose a black aro like that! Just their nature to jump and I thought I was ok w a tiny crack. I'll never do that again.
