Good lighting?

Im thinking about getting this lighting system. (askin for it for christmas most likely)

Few questions:
1. What bulb color to get?
2. What color temp for the white bulbs?
3. Anyone ever used this company before? Are they respectable and reliable?
Thanks. And would this lighting be sufficient enough to grow high lighting requirement plants on a 30 gallon tank?

i know many people who have these set ups. its not the best out there but again thats not what you are paying for. something like tek lights run twice as much. are these half as good i dont think so.

these worth the money in my eyes if you are looking for discount lights.

depending on what you are getting will depend on what bulbs you want. if you had a 20 gallon and the 4 bulb fixutre you wouldnt want all white bulbs. you would want at least one maybe 2 blue bulbs. the blue bulbs dont grow plants much but it keeps the tank from being over powered and throw off the balance.
