NEW SELECTIONS! 4 December 2010

TWO Aponogeton established in Tank Planters $8 each. These are nice plants with long (36"+) olive-green leaves. This is an excellent low-tech selection that will add a lot of foliage to your tank. You can probably keep them growing in their planters for a long time, although they may occassionally enter dormancy, as Aponogeton sometimes do. These plants are also developing a few little adventitious plantlets on their stalks. I'll include a small pack of extra nutrient pellets that you can add to the planter occasionally to keep the plant well-fed.

ONE Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Mi Oya' well-established in a Tank Planter for $8. Another great low-tech selection, you can probably keep this plant in its planter for years. 'Mi Oya' has good-sized leaves that are coppery-brown above and rosy-pink on the underside. I'll include a small pack of extra nutrient pellets that you can add to the planter occasionally to keep the plant well-fed.

THREE Echinodorus cordifolius 'Marble Queen'. Two of these specimens are like this one and $2.50 each, while the third is a bit smaller and $2. This is another pretty easy plant. When grown underwater the white variegation is more subtle.

Shipping & Handling starts at $6.50, with additional charges for heat packs, insulated boxes and larger orders. I have quite a few other plants available so just send a PM if you would like a more complete list of offerings.

Cheers,

Here is a quick shot of that Aponogeton set up with some crypts in a vase.

Those Tank Planters make it easy to manage plants in simple low-tech setups like this one. You can remove the plants with ease and clean the whole thing.
