Good Midi Editor Program?

Anyone know of a good free midi editor program? I just need to shorten a midi file. I used one before but it added about a 1-1.5 second additional silence at the begining. I need something that allows me to just cut/splice midi files.

Anyone know of any?

yes i know of one, Fruity Loops studio software. but its a complete music production program, but you can edit midi files with it using the demo.
