good or bad deal

well I really wanted a black ghost knife and my lfs had healthy ones at $24.00 CAN, but they also had healthy clown knifes at $11.00 CAN, I took the BGK, but really, would've it been a better offer for the CK?

BTW; I might get the CK

bgk are alittle tough to keep with other fish. Plus I dont think they can be keep with other BGK

What was the size of the BGK?? Otherwise I would say that it was an alright deal. Around here they are about $20+.

The CK's are cheaper because they get very large, and are becoming pretty common.

I don't think that's a good deal for a one inch BGK. Around here they cost about $20 for a 4-6 inch size. At one inch they are still very fragile. And they stay that way for quite awhile. If they are rare in your area then it might be a good deal. If I really want a fish, I'll pay what ever I feel it's worth, so if it's worth it to you, go ahead =]

They run around $15 for 2-3" ones around here at LFS.

Sometimes overpaying for a fish that you've been wanting is fine. Hell, I paid $60 for a 5" WC Delhezi and loving it As small as it is, keep it well fed and keep up in the water changes. It should grow quickly (for BGK standards) until it hits about 5"
