good or bad snail

is this snail good or bad in a planted tank.

real bad. pond snails. u get one and u'll have millions shortly. get them our ASAP!!!

make sure you look for eggs. they will be pea sized jelly bags. destroy them before they destroy your tank. mail them to me!

That is not a pond snail, and will not do much damage to the plants. They do become unsightly, and reproduce fast though.
 
ya i was just looking in my tank and pulled out a few.if they wont hurt my plants then i wont worry to much.i think they came in on the lg amazons that i got.
 
Very common hitch hiker with plants. Nothing major to worry about, other then they get ugly when they are in groups of 100 or more.
 
thats fine i will pull them out when i do my tank mant.and when i can reach them being that the tank is 30" tall it is hard to get in ther

What kind of lighting are you utilizing on a tank that tall?
 
it has 4x65w pcs on it
