My 6ft light is getting a little old and the black paint is coming off in a few spots, along with a lil buildup. I started to sand off all the paint and extra stuff. Was thinking about what paint to use to repaint it.

Anyone have luck with a certain type of paint or brand?
If not im just going to paint it black and waterproof over that. Or a rubberized paint.

Krylon Fusion or a more expensive epoxy paint if you are painting plastic.

Krylon Fusion is for plastic materials.

Krylon® Rust Tough is what you may want.

Krylon is excellent paint.

Sorry, I worded that wrong. Those were both for examples of painting plastic. He didn't specify what material he was painting so I assumed plastic as painting metal is usually a no brainer.

I Probably should have said, If you are painting plastic you can use Krylon Fusion or a more expensive epoxy paint. :)

Krylon Fusion sounds good, i will be painting plastic and metal. Used high end epoxy paint in the past ill haev to try this Krylon fusion out. Same brand good for metals too?

Yes it is. As Dr Joe mentioned, Krylon Rust Tough.
