What fish are good peace keepers or dithers I'm going to get 4 celidochilus pike cichlids and I'm wondering what tankmates can help keep down aggression?

You don't necessarily need to tank mates to keep down aggression, lots of hiding places help establish territories and keep down aggression. What size tank we talking about?

75 gallon long acrylic will be upgrading to a 6 foot glass tank down the road soon (my mom is paying for it for me to make to room look nicer:) ). Also I know that sometimes pikes just hunt each other down and celidos are pretty active and supposedly aggressive so I obviously have stocked up on lots of décor rocks and some PVC. I've heard of peace keepers and I've seen a youtube video long time ago of it in action.

Well dither and peacekeeper are two different things. A dither is something that distracts aggressive fish from one another usually. Examples would be silver dollars, barbs species and some larger tetras and other various species depending on what you like.
My understanding of peacekeeper as I see it is usually the largest dominant fish in the tank that usually stops skirmishes for me it my black belt in my 90 and managuense in my 125. When ever a fight or issue arises they usually glide over and the combatants back off. Idk if this a intentional thing or if they are truly stoping it but that's what I observe

Actually a "dither"is a fish that makes timid fish feel more secure. Newly settled fish can benefit from dithers. Shy fish like jds.

Targets are fish that give aggressive fish something to focus on besides each other. Silver dollars in a breeding setup for example.

My "peacekeepers" though are my Pearsei and Argentea. Both huge fish that won't start a fight but will end one quickly.

Yeah I know the difference... Yeah so do you recommend that I get a peace keeper(large jag or possibly oscar) or some good dithers? I have less space so I'm leaning slightly towards a peacekeeper

Ah thank you, I use dither and target interchangeably sometimes
