Good Price for: 300GAL acrylic truvu *used*

well im looking into a tank on craigslist and wondering whats the going rate right now on used tanks? i always hear $1 per gallon for glass and $1.50 per gallon on acrylic.

I would think that that number should be doubled. If you can find a 300g for 300 bucks that is a great deal. I think more like 500 or 600 just for tank

ok cool thanks. the guy with the 300, i have him down to $650 right now. it includes 3 tank sump setup, 2 protein skimmers, and lights. but im really looking for a tank with 30-36"ht. the 300 is 24".

As long as tank is in good shape that is a great deal. Seem like the 30"+ wide tanks are scarce these days good luck

just got the dimensions on the 400gal 72"x30"x36"= 337gal. price is at $1800. ill go look at it tomorrow. cant do $1800 though! may have to scoop the 300!

If it's just the tank then people like us pay $1 a gallon. That's not to say that the seller doesn't know how to price tanks. Most people will try to get close to what they have invested in a set-up, but every once in a while you'll find that sweet deal. Diligence and patience will pay off in the end if you shop around and wait for the right deal.............

yeah im knowing. im going to go and take a look at the larger tank tomorrow and see what i can offer. its the perfect dimensions.
