Good price for Gold Jag?

i'd go for it they can be hard to find some people here are trying to breed fish to get them but that may take some time so i'd say go for it
well, my only hesitation is that I've seen this fish in the store for a while, and it has not had much growth at all, It's been there over 4 months that I am aware of, I'm pretty sure it's female, my only other jag is a normal female around 4", other than 3 little 1/2 inch babies that I'm praying one will be male. So, I've been debating this purchase because it is 60!!!,

If you want it and it's been in the store for 4 months, you should point that out to them and make a lower offer....say $25-$30. See if they bite. If they won't take the offer, ponder for a minute and say you could go up to $40. Be willing to walk if they don't give it to you. GL
I bought two "gold jags" from an Asian fish store. One is a loiselli and the other is a friedrichsthalii. I paid $50 each for those at about 8" and 9". If you really want it, save up. Ask to put a deposit down or layaway. It couldn't hurt.
In my LFS (not the store above), there's not too many customers that have the means to keep bigger fishes like jags. So if one gets traded in or has been there for a while, they usually make these customers a good deal when they come in. The LFS owner doesn't know when another one of the few "big tank" guys might come in who may want the fish. And the LFS owner knows he has to feed it as long as he has it which can add up.
Take some pictures and post them up if you can. Long story short, if you really want it, get it. You may not have a chance again anytime soon.

I would trade in your regular jag for some credit towards the gold morph that will help with the price and then hope 1 of your little jags is a male.
