Good luck on finding a 2-3" wild discus. 90% of all wild discus that are imported are 4-4.5"+. Even then, a full grown wild Heckel shouldnt run you more than $50.

i didn't mean actually 'wild', just the ones that aren't red and blue and crazy neon colors, the wild coloration. but its good to know that they are still kinda cheap, even when large.
Well if you want a "wild type" look then I suggest you stick with something like a Red Turquoise, Brilliant Blue, Alenquer. Those can be found easily enough. And at 2.5" they still cost about $20-$25.
