I found a 180 with stand, canopy and wetdry near me for $750. Should I try to talk him down?

Is it glass or acrylic? What other things come with it and what type of stand does it have? What do tanks that size run around you new? I personally would try to talk him down a little just because I could probably get a brand new tank for about the same price. I bought my 150G tank from a petshop, its a custom built glass tank and oak cabinet painted black. I got the tank stand glass tops and light strips for $600.

depending on the condition of the tank and accessories etc I would think his asking price is a bit high.

everything looks good. its a wooden stand and canopy also it is a glass tank. I bought a 90 with stand, lights, filter, and canopy for $300. i was gonna offer him 575 cash today

Yeah, Id definatly try to jew him down on the price. Hell Im sure you could buy that brand new for the price he wants.

What has been implied here?

DrZacharyus, what brand is the tank? and the stand? What kind of wet-dry?

Perhaps a slight lapse of political correctness? Thats just a saying I suppose in the south when one barters is to "jew" them. No offense intended to anyone tho :)

Not a really good price IMO. For a used tank like that around my area would go for $450-$550 in good condition without scratches and such. Look around I find GREAT deals all the time and I still get them way less than the asking price.

damn, so I will offer him 575 cash and see if he bites. I may have my friends call and offer him like $550 lol

Do what ever needs to be done. What does it matter? Less money spent right. I mean just be persistant in the lower price. He will eventually bite if no one offers him $650 or something.
