Hey for those that want a really good site in at least finding the latin names and L # for their plecos, as wells as some really good pictures, here ya go! This may help with at least getting more acurate information if at least you know what you have.

Nice hookup dude, thanks!

Planetcatfish has good basic information. However, they lack in more exotic species, as well as newer L and LDA #s. If you want a really good source "All The L Numbers" by aqualog is a really good book, as is the DATZ book. DATZ is more up to date, I want one just haven't gone and gotten one.

i prefer planetcatfish also its in english that other site has a good list but still have to search for common names and habitat info.
The site that I posted has far more plecos, as well as pictures. The bulk of the information though is VERY basic, it is only for use for identification. The L #, Latin name are the main 2 things, and they are the same in all languages.

the site you posted, is based on the DATZ book, which is more accurate, whereas planetcatfish can be a bit misleading, and wrong as anyone can submit information. there catfish of the month is always pretty interesting though
