Did you mean and aggressive ones??? IMO 125g is not big enough for more than 1 aggressive cichlid, maybe something like a JD, Jag, Red Texas, Midas or Red Devil, dovii, butti but definatly not more than one or your asking for trouble big style.

How so? I've seen loads of 125s have two or three large aggressive guys and weren't many problems at all. JDs and red texas aren't as aggressive as the others you have named. A dovii will not fit in a 125 at all. I dont think you will have a problem with a tank filled with a Jag pair or another pair from the parachromis family. Now if you were to get a Flowerhorn that wou;d be a fish where you can't have tankmates besides plecos. Oh and DasArab I love your hybrids really nice fish, I wish I had them!

yea as long as you got enough good filtration you could do pretty much what ever you want.

but i would say a pair of motas and maybe a red devil and some dithers maybe throw in a jag
:D

in mine i had a midas, flowerhorn, firemouth hybrid they all got pretty big with minor problems. i had 2 aq110 and it work out good. Sady tank got sick so i had to tear it down im just starting over now.

u could do a a few of smaller aggressive species, like JD's or salvinis, if a solitary guapote isnt to your liking.

only for a few months :WHOA:

I had a 75G with
2x 5 - 6inch Dovii
2x 5 - 6inch JDs
5x pictus
2x 4line pictus
1x 13inch male Jag
1x 7 - 8inch male Jag
1x 7 - 8inch male GT

they all got on fine apart from the 2 Jags having a splash

depending on the fish, and being in a 125G something like a Jag, GT, JD with some silver D's would work I would think.
