What is a good price for a 16 inch silver aro with drop eye?

I would not pay more than $100 for it if you dont mind the drop eye.

Personally I would let it go and grab a young healthy one for half that price

I paid $40 for my big silver. Drop eye can occur with the healthiest of specimens though. My siver developed drop eye after I aquired him.

40? wow, i bought mine at 55 at maybe 5 inch... I know drop eye's extremely common with silvers... especially because i was feeding it feeders (not doin enough research i guess)

The cheapest I found in my area is 60 and I have to travel an hour to get it.

It depends on where you are. It seems that most people here can get them dirt cheap compared to the prices I get locally. In my area, the only way you'd ever find a 16 inch aro (DE or not) for under $100 would be if you found someone who's pretty desperate to get rid of theirs. I paid over $40 for mine when it was around 5" and already developing DE, and their price has gone up quite a bit since then. I've been to two different stores in the past year that were selling 6-8" aros for $100+.
