Good Stand/Canopy for 150G+ tank?

Looking for a good stand to setup for a 150-200 gallon tank...

also will need a good canopy to go with the tank/stand.

is there a good online retailer for ordering or even just seeing whats out there?

once again, any help is greatly appreciated!!:thumbsup:
 
go to your lfs and ask about ordering a tank.

I thought i needed a canopy on the top?

maybe i'm confused with what the canopy actually is.

I def need to get a proper lighting system though..

A canopy is usually made of wood and houses the lights and the glass top. Usually it is 4-6 inches high easily and there is a hinge where it opens so you can feed your fish.

You might just be meaning a "top" or lid where the light rests on top. A glass top can be bought at the manufacter's online site. Or you could make a top with egg crate (light diffuser) from Home Depot or Lowes.

That's a canopy. They to me make the tank look even bigger and bulkier. I don't need to make my tanks look bigger, I have what I have.

To each their own though, nothing wrong if you like them.

i'm totally with you on that. I much prefer it without the bulk on top
