Hi all,
I have these bloodparrot pellets and recently my florida gar has been mad about them. They are Protein 42%, fat 5%, fiber 6%, moisture 10%, vit A, D3, E, B1, B12, and C. as well as spirulina if that matters. I still plan on feeding guppies, tilapia fry, ACFs, Beef heart as suppliments, so do those pellets fit the bill? He really likes them and they not very pricey either:naughty:

Sure. If he'll eat them, let him! Mine eat the spirulina wafers, as well. I'd cut back or cut out beefheart, though. Since fish are cold-blooded, mammal fat tends to harden in their stomachs, and this can cause constipation. If he's eating a good staple food, as well as your other foods, I can't see where he'd need it, anyway. Just a thought.

I do trim all the visible fats from the beef heart, and only feed it once or twice a month. my polys love it as well. I guess I'm just lucky with the gar and the pellets he took to them quite quickly. cheers for the input. :)
