Don't call me a fool remorse euro cars are piles of crap that carnt handle austrlian conditions also u recommed Volvo ahahaha

Tis better to be called a fool, then open your mouth (again) and confirm it.

You obviously have never driven a good Volvo. Once again, look at the V70R and the S60R.

true euro cars dont really handle well in rough conditions. but volvos are nice. ima look into em. btw ima need something to stand up to cold canada winters...

My Aunt and Uncle would only drive Volvos when they lived in Alaska, bc of the performance and the heat. The heat is out of this world in a Volvo.

euro cars are crap eh. tell that to mercedes, bmw, porsche etc.
i would not waste my hard earned cash on a cheap plastic japanese mota.

+1

Jap crap runs great the first day. Then the cheap plastic crap inevitably breaks. But the good news is it's really cheap to fix! :screwy:

first car? mines gonna be a matiz lol how cool am I, how the hell do you afford insurance on big cars? My insurance on a car with a 800cc engine is £1,300. what am i doing wrong?

List if things you are doing wrong:

1. You live in England

And there you have it. Thats why your insurance is expensive. That and you have one of the highest accident rates in Europe.

The 1300GBP you pay in insurance, is that each month?! Thats $2000 here, thats just over 2 years of insurance for me.

lol you cant blame her for living in england :banhim: haha

depends on what you like...

i started with a jeep wrangler, then a '76 camaro, then '99 trans am, '06 focus, and now a '08 4runner which i love. i almost got a mini cooper s when i got the 4runner, would have been great on gas but you cant haul anything in it

my fiance has a mazda 3, its a nice little car too. pretty much the same as my focus was

I personally have a deep love for mustangs, but I've been told they don't handle well. For beginners, i would reccomend a volvo or Nissan Altima/maxima.

you are a scholar haha i own quite a few stangs.. while quite hard to handle once mastered very good handling

id have to disagree on the first cars needing to be beaters... my first car was a new civic si and there isn't a single person that would dare touch it... id break their fingers.. ive had it for 2 years now.. no accidents no tickets no trouble...

and thats bs calling jap cars crap... id rather have a honda than a benz that costs me an arm and a leg for a simple repair...

Yes, ok, and I agree...:grinno:

this thread is almost as bad as one of those "what should i stock my new 55 gallon" threads. its all preference. buy a car YOU like thats cheap cause i bet ur going to wreck it. no offence but its usually the case with "first cars".

and if you want your car to last dont drive it like a moron. take care of it and it will drive good, gunn it at every greeen light and break hard at evey red and you will be at the shop every year.
