Good sump pumps what are the deals around?

Ok so my sump pump blew out tonight. It was making crazy loud noises the last week or so. I have attempted multiple searches for people pumps and what they are using. If you could let me know your make and model that would be nice. I had a quiet one 3000 that I got for 36 bucks from petsmart. It worked for over a year before encountering problems. The sale does not exist anymore.

Before I put in an order after christmas I would like to hear about what pumps you have.

i have mags, and quiet-one. I like them both, the quiet one is more energy efficient though.

I don't run a sump so I don't know if this will work, but harbor freight has pond pumps that run 900/gph + for $50 ...

I run a Quiet one 6000. It's awesome, I love it. Cost me $120.

a good deal all depends upon your head height? electric consumption?

just get a mag 7 from the classified ads, they go for like $30

Thank you for all the replies. I actually got my pump to start pumping again! It was being super loud the past few weeks and then I took it apart and put it back together. Now when I start it up I have to lift it above the water level in my sump for it to start pumping water.

Good deal I meant money wise. I am going to research more into this and get a back up pump. On craigslist I saw a guy selling a mag 9 and I am after that. He hasn't replied to my email yet but I will be looking. I will update this thread with the pump I purchase. I'm just happy I got my sump going again!

And my pump has became quiet again!!!!

My sump is running a QuietOne6000...
I had a MaxiJet600 in the sump for circulation and it was louder than the QOne6000.
Awesome pump.
I have heard that Danner Magdrives are good, but QuetOne reigns suppreme for noise.
