I have a 190 gallon tank with 1 potamotrygon motoro and 3 florida gars and would like something more in it.

They are all small now, the motoro is ~12 cm and the gars are ~8-12 cm.

What I want is preferably something that moves much since the gars are pretty much still all the day and the ray is on the bottom. I want to get some more action in the tank.

If I could, I would get a channa micropeltes, but I know it gets really big and that it's aggressive so it would be a bad choice.

A silver arowana would maybe be a good choice, but I dont like the look so I'm thinking of a jardinii instead, but I've heard that it's very aggressive too.

Another dream fish would be RTC, but that gets way too big and I dont know if it really is that active...

I will *probably* get a bigger tank within 5 years, like 200x100x60 cm, but you never know what happens in the future... I will most definitly not get anything bigger than that, so it MUST be able to fit for life in 200x100x60 cm.

So, what would you recommend?

So I'm assuming you plan to get rid of the ray? You will need a much larger tank than you are willing to get to hold an adult motoro

This tank is too small IMO for three gar, and too small for a single ray. One florida gar should have a 180 to itself.
Gar do best alone, active fish can stress them out. Stressed gars can injure themselves when they panic.

No aro with gar, no channa

ur tank should be ok for the floridas for awhile. but dont go adding stuff
