Hey guys just wondering what good, maybe pretty looking tank mates would be for a silver aro? I have a red tail cat, but hes a babyyy so he just hides all day, i want like a community haha 1 silbver aro just looks...ehhh well hes about 6" long, maybe some schooling fish? or something?

i would recommend a clown knife. but i dought that the arowana is going to last that long, because red tail catfish is going to out grow that arowana in 6 months. there is a big probablity that you arowana is going to be about 7 inches and you catfish will probably about 6 inches by then
Ive had him with an Alligator gar, they are the same size the ARO is a little larger, but i woke up this morning and the gar bit him...Ive had them together for weeks and they have been fine, so i have just decided im taking the gar to the lfs today, so im going to try to trade the gar for another aro, or just sell it...
