Good team: Oscar and LMB.

I originally had this tank with a LMB and a tiger oscar, but the oscar developed an internal bacterial infection. I spent $70 on fighting the infection, but it eventually died. They got along great. I bought a replacement Oscar, but it was too small and the bass beat it up. I moved it to a grow out tank and he is now big enough to live with the bass. They are getting along famously. I added a pot for a home for the oscar, and some plant work. It looks good, and they are now friendly.

Amazing what they can fit in their mouths. It once ate a fish 2/3 it's length. It was a yellow perch, and you could see the snout poking almost through his stomach, with the tail still hanging out his mouth.

the only place to fish for them is central park and you can't keep your catch
