i wouldnt have done that trade if i were you.i think that green terror has potential.
 
:/ i wouldntve trade that either... green terror gets more colorful and prettier IMO .... but if texas is wat u like , then sure ... a fish is worth what you think its worth :)
 
That GT looked amazing!!!!!! We'll have to see what the texas looks like when it settles in.
 
texas are awesome fish! get a bulb that brings out blues! then itll look 100 times better than he all ready does! thou they are rowdy and not the best com fish so watch its tankmates carefully!

I do agree that adult GTs have great color. In my opinion, the GT I traded had pretty average potential. I have seen several at that size with better finnage and better orange in their fins.

I am really happy with the trade. I don't see many Texas Cichlids around here, so I jumped on the opportunity. I am already diggin' his personality (or is it fishality:)). Hopefully I can get better pictures soon.
 
Kinda depends you know. That green terror does look like it'll be a looker. But if its me, its a good trade because I've had a beautiful colorful green terror adult male, and numerous terrors over the years. I haven't had the pleasure of raising a texan completely yet. I cant wait till my guy gets big.
