I have an auto water changer drip system running 2.5GPH changing 60 gallons of water a day. I am in the middle of a salt treatment for war wounds on my arowana and am having a bugger of a time figuring out the calculations for adding salt either daily or weekly?
in my 300 gallon I started with 3.4kg and that is 0.3% but with 60 gallons a day i will have to add from the water that is being extracted..... BUT i also know its not like a standard waterchange.... It is taking a % of fresh water out with old water constantly.
Anyone here know the correct way to calculate the actual removal amount of salt/water?

Also is there a set rule to how much water you can change in a day? I was looking at switching my nipple for a double flow?
Be on the safe side for water quality now that i have rays.
Any ideas?
