Ok I know this has probably been posted a hundred times, but I dunno what else to put in there.

I've got a 55 gallon (4ft x 13 deep x 24 tall) It currently houses a L264, L75, 3 queen loaches (I wanted to get a shoal of 6, but i;m not sure how big they're going to get. Stupid conflicting websites), 12 danios (longfin blues and zebras), and 6 neon tetras (they're probably moving, I had to swap them and my Betta last night who randomly decided he was depressed in the 55).

So my bottom half of my tank is ALWAYS full- the danios are convinced they're bottom feeders and love the caves. And the top half... is empty.

I know I'm practically 'fully' stocked according to the 1in/gall rule (assuming I upgrade by the time the plecs get 6in long). And while I am willing to over stock a bit and do more water changes, so long as everyone still has room to swim and play and what not.

The tank does have a bunch of plants, a HOB and 2 sponge filters, and sand substrate.

What, if anything, would you add to the tank?

Thanks so much! I'm sorry for another 'one of those' posts!

In order to keep my top of the tank in motion, I got a wrestling halfbeak. He's awsome! I don't know whether a 3 inch fish would look good in a four foot tank by itself. Too bad you can only get one. They fight like bettas. I put 2 in my tank, and they were fine until they got fullgrown and bit each other alot. I had to move 1 to the 30 gallon where it sits today They are great with every other kind of fish except fish that can eat it. Mollies are also top dwellers. I have 2 that seem to annoy the halfbeak when they get close, but he doesn't chase them.
