That sucks. Sorry to hear about your loss man. Did he have a hard time molting or did something eat him while he was still soft?
Went out today to get some Iodine to help my shrimps molt (thank god for Oddball and MFK...) but could I find any..??
First place I went (Superdrug) didn't know what Iodine was!!! Ha -what -you kiddin..?
The next 3 chemist / drugstores didn't have any pure stuff either...was recommended "Tincture of Iodine" by the last one, but thankfully sought MFK advice before doin anything with it...
Just as well, it's an antiseptic and god knows what would have happened if I'd put some in the tank!
Going to try again tomorrow and prob. take a trip to lfs - see if they've got any (thanks again Oddball).

He was around 4" and he died of a very hard molt I think cause his shell started to go yellow
The only place to get them is at Wharf Aquatics which is an hours drive away so its a case of when my mum and dad can be bothered to take me, and they cost £10
